The Brightworks Team

Douglas McCarroll is an Adobe Flex architect/developer with over a decade of experience designing and implementing database-driven interactive applications. He is currently president of Brightworks and has been extensively involved in all projects listed in this website's Projects section. He is actively engaged in the Boston user group community and leads the Boston Flex Application Incubator Group. Previous clients include Allurent, Harvard Medical School, Lexia Learning Systems, Six Red Marbles, and TERC.
Lenni Armstrong is a designer/developer with a focus on conveying complex information through animation, interactivity and database visualization. Over the last twenty years she's worked for clients like The Boston Museum of Science, Medical Learning Company, TERC, and Boston Children's Hospital. She's taught Flash and ActionScript classes for five years in both corporate and academic settings.
Keith Ulrich has been developing interactive applications since 1995 and has extensive experience with Flex, Flash, Java, PHP, SQL and Ruby on Rails. He has a deep understanding of object oriented programming and design patterns. We can't really do justice to his skills here without descending into extreme geekiness. His current tool-of-choice is Adobe Flex. His work has appeared on the websites of General Motors, McGraw-Hill, and Encyclopedia Britannica among others.
