Boston Marathon Simulation

We worked on this project in 1997. We upgraded the simulation from version 1 to version 2 and rewrote and modularized the code for clarity and maintainability.

Technology

This project was implemented using Macromedia (now Adobe) Director to create Shockwave media content. While visitors fill out the initial questionnaire the program loads in the background, thus minimizing the user's wait time. Graphics (runners, trees, etc.) are reused repeatedly, which allows a lot of visual content to be created with minimal wait time.
